Brexit Highlights 12 – 18 March

Draft Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community was published.

– The European Parliament adopted a resolution on the framework of the future EU-UK relationship.

– A policy paper – Information about the Withdrawal Bill – published by the UK Government was updated.

– The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee produced a new report – The land border between Northern Ireland and Ireland

– The Scottish Culture, Tourism, Europe and External Relations Committee produced a new report following an inquiry “to learn more about the opportunities currently available under Erasmus+ and to consider the implications of Scotland no longer participating in the programme after the UK withdraws from the EU” – Erasmus+

– A new post was published on the House of Commons blogWhat happens to EU funding after Brexit?

– Several articles were published on the LSE blog on Brexit including the two following – Why won’t the UK get a good Brexit deal on financial services? One word: Norway; A hard Brexit will see criminals taking back control

– The UK in a Changing Europe produced a report – Brexit and the NHS

– The Institute for Government produced a new report – Costing Brexit: what is Whitehall spending on exiting the EU?
